2020-21 PRAXIS STUDIO RESIDENCY ANNOUNCEMENT

praxis ARTSPACE is thrilled to announce that the successful applicant of the 2020-21 Studio Residency has been awarded to emerging artist Miriam Barker-Lanzi.

This residency awards the successful applicant with a rent free studio space for 6-months. This program has been offered in partnership with Adelaide Central School of Art and provides a dedicated space to develop one’s practice within a professional and supportive environment, as well as opportunities developing and strengthening important networks, as well as hands-on support from the praxis curatorial team.

A recent graduate of Adelaide Central School of Art, Miriam Barker-Lanzi is a multi-disciplinary artist exploring the human body and materiality. She is guided by a passion for anthropology, history, feminism and travel.

Praxis Artspace is excited to welcome Miriam into the Praxis Studio family, and look forward her exploration of new ideas within an engaged community of contemporary artists.
