Inspired by the experience of travel and lived adventure, this work takes reference from the remote Australian bush, suburban architecture and its inhabitants.
Starting with photographs, a process of cutting, ripping and re-photographing takes place. This is repeated several times until the final formal arrangement transforms into a new space and is then shown through a series of abstracted, sculptural forms that could suggest a road trip or experience in the viewers’ day to day life.
